I found a great article on one of my favorite sites, Smashing Magazine. It details the use of negative margins in CSS, and how they are typically overlooked as an option with some developers. One thing I noted is that they are supported across most browsers, even IE 6 with a simple hack (of course).

With the launch of the site I wanted to point to my favorite Actionscript development tool, FlashDevelop. Its available for Windows right now, but works fine in Parallels for Mac OSX. Unfortunately they don't seem to be planning to port it to OSX natively, but I highly recommend it for any Actionscript development if you are using Windows of Parallels.
